when we make mistakes contrary to our conscious wishes; according to Sigmund Freud, these mistakes (slips) are our subconscious wishes, real but REPRESSED; these slips are the way in which our subconscious mind talks to us, the way in which our subconscious mind let us know what does it really have in mind!
a good example was the case of the amerikan flag which was displayed the day when the "statue was topple"; i heard a man from the "military" at centcom, only few days before the statue was removed in Baghdad, saying that amerikan flags should not be displayed by amerikan forces in Iraq as this will promote the sentiment that the coalition of the willing was an occupying force and not a liberating one ...
well
then, if that was the order, i can only conclude two things, either
the marine soldier disobeyed the order and put the flag despite the
NO AMERIKAN FLAGS ORDER or the officer lied to us during his "war
update" performance ...
i believe the latter to be true because there were too many "mistakes"
... for example, i also heard the initial lie about the 7 civilians,
women and children, killed in a van at a checkpoint ...
the lie went like this: the soldier, who killed all these people, first asked them to stop, then shot up in the air, then shot at the engine and finally shot at the family ... well, if it hadn't been for a journalist from the washington post we would have never known the real story ... the soldier didn't even shot up in the air, it just shot at the van and when the officer in charge open the door of the van and saw the bodies, he said something like: congratulations, you just killed a family because you didn't shoot up in the air fast enough !
and many more "mistakes" like this ... as i am writing this text, i have been told that the marine soldier that put the amerikan flag to the statue in Baghdad, had been given the order by his commanding officer ... well this is not what i heard previously in an official cetcom presentation ... i don't think there are mistakes being made while "informing the public" about this "war" against Iraq, on the contrary, i strongly believe, we only hear very well calculated statements ...
goebbels was hitler's chief propagandist for good reasons, to start with he was a crazy man, brought directly from a mental institution to the party, nazi, where he developed the framework of propaganda as we know it. goebbels' second principle of propaganda states the following: Propaganda must be planned and executed by only one authority; this is an important factor because everything we hear comes from a single mind, there is nothing left lose to "chance" every statement comes from a unique source, every statement made is carefully calculated and has a clear objective: dismiss, confuse, alter, discredit, divert ... it is not intended at telling the truth, but as a tool of manipulation of human feelings and human 'understanding' of events.

I reached the conclusion that
donald rumsfeld,
is the chief master propagandist of the gwbushregime, I don't say this because I believe he is a mad man just like Goebbels, probably he is, but because he fits the mold so well and at the end of the day the "buck stops" with him.

to alter events, to discredit concerned people around the world and
to divert our attention to the weapons of mass destruction that so far
haven't been found … and even if they were found today that is
not what we were told, we were told this weapons were an IMMINENT DANGER,
IMMINENT THREAT TO THE WEST … so if the weapons can't be found
for months to no end they could not have been so imminent, because imminent
means: READY TO TAKE PLACE …

another good example of the mind speaking the truth through slips of the tongue was when Tony Blair in January 2004 surprise visit to the british troops in Iraq called things by their right name and said:
weapons of mass d i s t r a c t i o n ... instead of destruction

somebody trying to boost his image
convincing the british public
he is not a liar,
and his word is good,
this was a pretty big slip ...
